WALX Derwent and Dales

WALX Derwent and Dales was established in 2008 and delivers walks for all abilities, varying distances and grades in our local parklands to the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District alongside weekend adventures, walking holidays in the UK and Europe and walking Festivals.

From Explorer walks which vary from a full day to half days and often include a cafe or pub visit in and around Derbyshire and the Peak District to Wellness walks for those who require a more gentle pace or have a medical condition to Total Body walks for those who want to be pushed and motivated for fitness progression. For those who love to walk and talk, to enjoy the great outdoors and our beautiful county our walking group is for you.

We are an experienced team with qualified guides and leaders who also offer mountain and hill skills, navigation skills, movement and wellness sessions alongside Tai Chi Movements for wellbeing, Yoga and Forest walks.
