Ashgate Hospice Fun Weekend at Barn Farm Campsite, Birchover

Barn Farm Campsite in Birchover provides a scenic venue for Ashgate Hospice's fundraising over the late May Bank Holiday weekend! (23/24 May) T

They will be joined from noon on both days by crafts, jewellery, plants, games, small fairground rides, tractors, Barn Farm Truck Ride, bouncy castles, pony rides, tarot card readings, glitter stall and Lena’s Wellbeing Tent. – BAR and FOODSTALLS serving breakfasts and snacks!    Ashgate volunteers will be selling soft drinks, traybakes and cakes – with vintage games – Spin the Wheel and Bucket Toss - plus glow items!  There will be an Ashgate Prize Draw Raffle – Win a Hamper – on both days!  Winning ticket drawn in the evening.

The event will also support the local Guides Group and Compass Fostering The weekend's plans are as follows: SATURDAY, 23 May Animal encounters (1.00 – 3.00 pm) Loopy Lou (4.00 – 6.00 pm) walkabout entertainment, party dances Punch and Judy Show 2.45 pm Bella’s Bellydancing – fun colourful dancing – with audience participation 8.00 pm ROCKIN’ RED ROCKET – Bringing their take on pop punk and rock!  SUNDAY, 24 May 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm – Rachel as Rumi from KPop!!  (children’s entertainer, songs, games) HOG ROAST AT 3.00 PM 3.30 pm – 5.00 pm - Stuart Brown– balloon modelling 8.00 pm – PAPER KITE – country set – plus party songs – a fun local duo. Sparkly cowboy hats and party mix!  Fancy dress encouraged.
