We will weave threads of the past into the present, spinning new connections with artisans from India and beyond whose knowledge helped transform the local industry.Join us as we explore the many aspects of this heritage, guided by local artisans and experts. Experience a variety of activities, from the many hands-on workshops to engaging talks, walking tours, archival films, stunning commissioned artworks and exhibitions spread throughout the entire week.We will draw on the legacy of William Morris and his collaboration with Thomas Wardle, who engaged with Indian artisans to harness their expertise and share best practices in wild silk and natural dyes.
