Woodland Chill and Chat for Adults

This event is for adults who are looking to unwind, step away from the daily rush, and enjoy some good company.

At each session we will gather at the woodland BBQ circle. This picturesque location offers a serene atmosphere, surrounded by nature.

Leave your worries behind and immerse yourself in the woodland. Grab a comfortable spot, enjoy leisurely conversations and shared stories.

Whether you're looking to meet new people or simply relax in a peaceful setting, this event is the perfect opportunity. Connect with like-minded individuals, share your experiences, and forge new friendships.

Feel free to bring a packed lunch, we will provide hot drinks and biscuits!

Are you thinking of coming alone but a little nervous? Please don't be, we are very welcoming and would love to have you join us.

These sessions are funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, but we welcome small donations to help cover costs for hot drinks and biscuits as well as fuel to keep the BBQ going for the kettle! (If you enjoy baking home made treats feel free to bring some along - cake donations are very welcome!)

Please note, there is a composting toilet available if needed, the height of luxury for the middle of a woodland!

To find us there is a short walk from the woodland car park down an uneven and often muddy track. You will receive directions to the woodland and the private car park with your booking confirmation. Once you have arrived at the car park you will see wheelbarrows on your right. Go past the wheelbarrows and follow the path straight on for about10 minutes until you pass a hut. You will find us at the camp fire on the left, just after the hut.

Please book your space in advance so that we know how many people will be joining us and if nearer the time, you can no longer make it, please do cancel your place to let us know.

We purposefully keep the group size small. If you are walking into the woods, please select 'on foot' ticket. (If you know the woodland, we are based very close to the hostel). If you require a parking space, please select 'by car'.

Please wear suitable footwear and wrap up warm in several layers.
