Tourism Awards
The Peak District, Derbyshire & Derby Tourism Awards showcase excellence and outstanding achievement across the area’s tourism and hospitality sector.
The Peak District, Derbyshire & Derby Tourism Awards
Organised by Visit Peak District & Derbyshire in collaboration with Visit Derby, the Peak District, Derbyshire & Derby Tourism Awards are a celebration of the passionate, hardworking and distinctive businesses who continually raise the bar of our world-class tourism offer.
The awards showcase excellence and outstanding achievement across the area’s tourism and hospitality sector, recognising the success and resilience of tourism businesses whilst highlighting the sector’s vital contribution to the local economy.
There are 14 awards categories in total covering different aspects of the tourism industry, ranging from hotels, B&Bs and campsites to pubs, visitor attractions, unique experiences, and the hardworking people behind the businesses. Applications for the main 14 categories are now closed, but we are delighted to announce that we have launched a new category; Festival or Event of the Year!
The 2024/25 Tourism Awards are sponsored by C W Sellors Fine Jewellery and Luxury Watches and VoltShare. If you would like to find out more about sponsorship opportunities for the awards please e-mail Lindsay Rae on lindsay.rae@visitpeakdistrict.com

NEW! Festival or Event of the Year
A new category shining a spotlight on the area’s best festivals and events has been announced for the 2025 Peak District, Derbyshire & Derby Tourism Awards.
The public-voted ‘Festival or Event of the Year’ category will champion high quality events and festivals that have taken place in the Peak District, Derbyshire and Derby in the past 12 months – from country shows and music festivals to unique exhibitions and arts trails.
“Great festivals and events play a vital role in our £2.5 billion tourism industry, providing thousands of visitors with high quality experiences and memories to cherish each year. We’re spoilt for choice with so many quality local events, and if you’re an events organiser, this is your moment to shine and for your hard work to be recognised!”
Following a shortlist process of applications this category's Gold, Silver and Bronze, unique to the others, will be decided by public vote.
