About Us
Visit Peak District & Derbyshire is the area's official Destination Management Organisation (DMO), tasked with promoting the area nationally and internationally to grow and support the visitor economy.
We represent the Peak District and Derbyshire’s valuable tourism sector, which generates £1.9 billion and attracts 35 million visitors annually*.
Our mission is to develop and grow a successful and sustainable visitor economy, working closely with a wide range of industry partners to make the Peak District and Derbyshire the destination of choice - regionally, nationally and globally.
Established in 2005, Visit Peak District & Derbyshire is the official tourist board for the Peak District and Derbyshire. We are a small, highly-focused, industry-led team that represents both visitors and the visitor economy, ensuring that the importance of tourism within the wider economy is understood.
We are a public/private partnership and our Board includes representatives from Derbyshire County Council, local authorities and the private sector. We work in partnership with national tourism bodies such as VisitBritain and VisitEngland to maximise the Peak District and Derbyshire's profile across the world.
We support the area's tourism businesses through our membership programme, enabling them to grow by offering business support, opportunities to network, chances to advertise to wide audiences and access to national and international marketing campaigns.
We offer members a suite of marketing and advertising opportunities at all levels to suit all budgets, and also provide business support through our membership programme.

Jo is our Managing Director and has been with Visit Peak District & Derbyshire since 2005.
Lindsay Rae
Lindsay is our Deputy Director and Head of Industry Engagement, and joined the team in 2007
Lisa Woolhouse
Lisa is our Membership & Sales Manager. With over 20 years working with tourism and hospitality businesses Lisa is our newest recruit, joining us in 2021.
Rachel Briody
Rachel is our Marketing Campaigns Manager and joined the team in late 2020 after a long career in the travel and tourism industry.
Amy Noton
Amy is our PR & Digital Content Manager and has excellent knowledge of the destination.
Claire Barnes
Claire joined Visit Peak District & Derbyshire in 2018 as an ERDF Project Officer.
Caroline Cordasco
Our Industry Support Executive, Caroline has worked at Visit Peak District & Derbyshire for over 10 years.
