Vine Hotels announced as Visit Peak District & Derbyshire’s latest patron

A Sheffield-based hotel management and development company is the latest business to become a patron of Visit Peak District & Derbyshire, the area’s official tourism body.
Vine Hotels, which owns, manages and operates several leading hotels across the UK, has joined a dedicated network of businesses who share Visit Peak District & Derbyshire’s core aims to grow the visitor economy and champion the long-term success of the tourism industry and the communities it supports.
As a patron, Vine Hotels will support Visit Peak District & Derbyshire’s ongoing mission to increase visitor spend, drive overnight stays and extend the tourism season, whilst helping to develop the visitor economy in an inclusive, accessible and sustainable way.
Vine Hotels operates a portfolio of uniquely individual hotels and venues across the UK and provides a range of services from management contracts to acquisitions, business health checks, turnaround solutions and hospitality consultancy.
The group works with a wide range of well-known brands including Hilton, IHG and Best Western, and runs several hotels on the edge of the Peak District National Park, including DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Sheffield Park, Best Western Plus Mosborough Hall and the Mercure Sheffield Kenwood Hall Hotel & Spa.
Vine Hotels will work with Visit Peak District & Derbyshire to inform a strong and ambitious visitor economy strategy for the region, sharing their collective expertise to champion the delivery of effective destination marketing for the area.
Visit Peak District & Derbyshire is the lead partner of the Visit Peak District, Derbyshire & Derby Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) in collaboration with Visit Derby. Developed and administered by national tourism body VisitEngland, the national portfolio of accredited LVEPs work locally and nationally on shared priorities and targets to grow the local visitor economy.
Tourism contributed almost £2.9bn to the Peak District and Derbyshire’s economy in 2023, supporting thousands of jobs and driving prosperity in local communities.
