High Peak Business Support

We are delighted to be able to offer a wide range of business support as part of High Peak Borough Council's UK Shared Prosperity Fund project. Here's how your business can get involved:

Walkers and Cyclists

Through the Spring and Summer we will be running a marketing campaign to promote walking and cycling in the High Peak in the run up to our brand new High Peak Walking and Cycling Festival, which will take place between 20 and 29 September. If you business is based in the High Peak and you would like to be involved, we have developed a toolkit for you to download and a set of assets for you to display in your business and for use across social media.

To help you maximise the walking and cycling market, we are also delivering an ‘Attracting and Welcoming Walkers and Cyclists’ workshop. This workshop will help you understand the value and volume of both these markets, and will offer tips and suggestions on what you as a business can do to attract and welcome walkers and cyclists. To support the workshops and to also offer this practical advice, we are also developing a downloadable toolkit.

Creators and Makers

We also have a range of support to offer High Peak creators, makers and artisan food and drink producers. We are taking applications for the opportunity for qualifying businesses to apply for a fully funded stand at Chatsworth Country Fair, 30 Aug - 01 Sept. We have also developed a workshop to help creators and makers harness the power of their social media platforms to attract more customers.
