    About

    16th July 2025 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Ever wondered how some businesses get featured on prime time TV or in glossy magazines? Let us introduce you to the power of PR! Public Relations can bring incredible exposure to your tourism business, helping you reach new customers and ultimately make more money. Best of all, it’s free!

This introductory, standalone session is a perfect introduction for complete beginners and for anyone wanting to refresh their approach to doing their own PR in the digital age.

By the end of the session, you will understand how the media works and what journalists and editors are looking for. You’ll be guided to identify the stories related to your business that will be most of interest to the media and how to go about getting featured by the media.

Join us for this short webinar, led by Marketing & PR Consultant, Molly Scott, for lots of useful hints and tips to start doing PR or improve your existing PR efforts. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and network with fellow local tourism businesses.

This webinar is part of a four-part series.* You're welcome to register for all four sessions, or simply attend the ones that interest you—each webinar also works well as a stand-alone event.

Priority for attendance at this event will be given to businesses based in the local authority area of High Peak Borough Council.

This event is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and High Peak Borough Council
