Poole’s Cavern & Buxton Country Park -Members Event

Enjoy a complimentary guided tour of Poole’s Cavern, an ancient limestone cave on the edge of Buxton. This family-friendly, dog-friendly, all-weather attraction features beautifully illuminated rock formations, vast chambers and striking stalactites and stalagmites shaped over millions of years.

Your guide will share the cavern’s geology, history and folklore as you explore for around 45 minutes underground at a constant temperature of 7°C. Experience optional complete darkness and see our unique “Poached Eggs” stalagmites under UV light.
