Breedon Hope Cement Works - Members' Visit

Breedon is a leading vertically integrated construction materials group in Great Britain, Ireland and the USA.

They supply the construction industry with the essential materials needed to build the places where we live and work, play and in-between.

Their purpose is to make a material difference to the lives of their colleagues, customers and communities, and their products play an essential part in creating a sustainable built environment for everyone.

We will meet in the Conference room next to the Social Club, for an introduction and presentations on;

• Cement Manufacturing.
• The History of the Works and its People.
• Hope’s future plans.

Followed by a visit to the Cement Works Laboratory and Quarry and Works viewing platforms, before returning to our conference room for lunch.
