Join us as we take a Tourism sector specific look at marketing your visitor economy business to full effect. This six hour workshop will cover:

  • Your why – understanding the story you want to tell and how to tell it
  • Identifying your customer – building a customer persona and understanding demographics to allow you to target them effectively
  • Selecting the right marketing channels that will match your target customer

- Events/Networking/Relationship building

- Advertising

- Print marketing

- Influencer marketing

  • Crafting a strategy that generates results
  • Understanding what’s working – using metrics/analytics to take future decisions

Action planning exercises will be conducted throughout the workshop at relevant sections to ensure you leave with a plan you can implement the following day once you are back in your business.

To be eligible to attend this event you must be a business based in one of the following districts: Amber Valley; Ashfield; Bassetlaw; Broxtowe; Chesterfield; Derby; Derbyshire Dales; Gedling; Erewash; High Peak; Leicester City; Mansfield; Newark & Sherwood; North East Derbyshire; Nottingham; Rushcliffe; or South Derbyshire.

(Please note: Businesses based in districts not participating in the Accelerator project (i.e. Bolsover; Leicestershire) are also invited to attend providing they are members of East Midlands Chamber.)
