A market will run alongside this event in the Market Square and the Market Hall will be open so shoppers can start picking up presents from local businesses.

Belper Winter Food Festival and Light switch on

Aimed at raising funds for a local charity, a convoy of illuminated Classic VW Campervans and Beetles will make their way around Swadlincote, Overseal, Moira, Ashby, Woodville, Newhall, Brizlincote and Stapenhill. Swadlincote will a festive market from 3pm as well as live entertainment, children’s fairground rides, and Santa with his sleigh.
