Nestled in the Peak District, Isla Fine Art Cards & Gifts is lucky enough to be situated in the beautiful Cavendish Arcade in the centre of Buxton. The Cavendish Arcade is the old Buxton Baths and is a jewel of Buxton's grand old architecture. Housing the best of independent shopping that Buxton has to offer the Cavendish Arcade is a cornucopia of unusual boutique shops. Isla Fine Art Cards & Gifts is an eclectic mix of interesting, quirky and tasteful gift and homeware items alongside a range of original art and prints by local artists and artisans. 

We have a changing selection of orginal art, prints and other items by a range of local artists and artisans. Our range includes oil on canvas by award winning artist Mark Langley, blown glass by Thomas Petit, acrylic on canvas by Amanda Horvath, resin work by Brenda Wilson and Mandy Collins and more. We also stock handmade pewter work by Quirky Metals from Sheffield alongside aluminium and acrylic clocks and jewellery by Pixalum from New Mills.

We are known locally for the range of lampshades we stock from Lush Designs - they are statement pieces which will make any room in your home. We have hand made clocks and jewellery from local makers and wonderful animal themed ceramic vases. We pride ourselves on having items which are that little bit different whilst keeping a high standard of quality of design and style. We also stock a wide range of greetings cards, mainly art based and we have an excellent selection of humorous cards to tickle you.

Isla has been in retail for many years having spent 15 years running bookshops in London. She has taken her experience from there and created something genuinely different. The shop is full of unusual and beautiful items that you are unlikely to see in many other shops. There is always something to catch the eye and the imagination in the shop.
