From 10am to 6pm, explore a huge selection of Christmas craft stalls spread right across the town – from Cavendish Walk and the Assembly Rooms, to Old Bolsover Yard and even within the gates of the iconic Bolsover Castle. It’s the perfect place to pick up unique presents, festive decorations, and artisan treats, all while supporting brilliant local makers.

The Town Square will be at the heart of the action, filled with music, live performances, and street entertainment to keep spirits high. Don’t forget to visit the festive bar – ideal for enjoying a mulled wine, hot chocolate or other seasonal drink as you soak up the atmosphere.

Bolsover Lantern Parade
As night falls, prepare to be dazzled by one of the UK’s biggest and longest-running light processions. The magical Bolsover Lantern Parade will begin at Bolsover Castle at 5pm, where a glowing trail of community-made lanterns will wind its way through the town. With its beautiful glowing sculptures and joyful atmosphere, the parade brings together people of all ages for a spectacular celebration of light.
