Crescent Crafts and Teddy Tales: Rehoming Treasured Teddies with Stories to Tell with Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust
Craft, build, play and explore in the glorious Assembly Rooms
About
28th May 2024
10:30 am - 4:00 pm
We believe every teddy has a story, which is why we aim to find new homes for your preloved teddies. Drop off your clean preloved teddies at the Pump Room along with a short backstory, and we'll find them new homes at our event on the 28th.
Then get creative with fabric scraps to design accessories for your teddies. Keeping with the recycling theme, we'll repurpose vinyl banners into charming bunting and pots. Let's turn waste into wonderful crafts together!
Our wide selection of toys will be available, including our dressing-up rail, LEGO sets, tea set, and sensory bags. Additionally, we'll set up a cozy story area in the card room where you can either bring your favourite stories to share or sit back and enjoy a tale read by one of our team members.
As a charity, we aim to keep many of our family events free of charge. However, if you'd like to support us in continuing to provide such experiences, please consider making a donation. Your generosity helps us sustain and grow our community initiatives.
Session times 10:30-12:30 & 2-4pm
No need to book tickets for Crescent Crafts- just drop in and enjoy the fun!
