Join us for a paw-tastic day out at Cromford Mills as we celebrate our canine best friends in the stunning historic surroundings of this World Heritage Site. Our popular Dog Show returns in 2026, promising a fun-filled day for dogs and humans alike.

Enjoy a packed programme of entertainment, family-friendly activities, tombolas, trade stalls and plenty of opportunities to treat your four-legged companions. From playful competitions to browsing dog-related goodies, there’s something for every breed, age and personality.

Set against the beautiful and atmospheric backdrop of Cromford Mills, this is the perfect day out for dog lovers of all ages — whether you’re entering the show, cheering from the sidelines, or simply soaking up the lively atmosphere.

We’re excited to welcome you for a tail-wagging celebration that’s sure to be a highlight of the year.

Dog Show Etiquette
Helping keep your dog relaxed and happy in a busy environment

• Please keep your dog on a short lead and under control at all times.
• Ask the owner before allowing your dog to approach another dog. Not all dogs enjoy meeting unfamiliar dogs.
• Please avoid letting dogs play in the show tent, as this can be stressful for other dogs.
• Give your dog the chance to go to the toilet before entering the show area. If an accident happens, please clean up and inform a member of staff.
• Remember that not everyone is comfortable around dogs, so please keep them close and discourage jumping up.
• Children should only approach dogs if the owner says it’s okay.
• Please do not bring dogs that are in season or unwell.
• If your dog is very nervous around crowds or other dogs, this may not be the best environment for them.
