About

29th November 2026 - 13th December 2026

Sunday 29th November & 13th December

10:15am & 11am

In the cold days of the Ice Age, long before Santa, what did Stone Age people think lived in the dark depths of the caves during winter?

Join our Stone Age guide this Christmas and venture into our deepest, darkest cave to hear tales of winters long ago. Take part in an interactive cave experience and meet our mysterious (but friendly!) Abominable Snowman - he may even have a magical gift for each child!

£10 per child
£8 per adult

This event is not suitable for under 5s due to health and safety restrictions of the cave. Please only book this session if your child is old enough.

Accessing the cave involves steps, uneven surfaces, and low ceilings, so please get in touch before booking if you are concerned about you or your child accessing the cave.  There is a low height tunnel to pass through in order to meet the abominable snowman, which may be unsuitable for those with limited movement.
