Distillery tours at Forest Distillery

A unique family-run distillery set in the heart of the Peak District National Park, Forest Distillery produces some of the world’s finest small-batch spirits, including gin, whisky and rum. Based at the historic Cat & Fiddle near Buxton, the distillery is operated by Lindsay and Karl Bond, who craft a range of award-winning gins using botanicals foraged from nearby Macclesfield Forest.

A Taste of the Forest
Enjoy a visit to the UK’s highest altitude distillery, including a Forest Gin & Tonic on arrival, followed by two neat spirit samples.

Cocktail Night
Join the lively team, known as the 'Weasels', on the last Friday of every month for Cocktail Night. Held in the cosy Distillery Bar at the Cat & Fiddle.

Forest Gin Distillery Tour
A 90-minute guided tour of the UK’s highest altitude distillery, featuring two drinks, two neat samples, an engaging talk, and a behind-the-scenes look at the gin-making process. Every Saturday and Sunday at 12noon.

Forest Whisky Distillery Tour
A 90-minute guided tour of the UK’s highest whisky distillery. Includes drinks, tastings, and a fascinating insight into the history of this iconic building. Every Saturday and Sunday at 3pm.
