About Embroidered Christmas Robins at Chatsworth

Friday 13 November

9.30am to 3.30pm

Includes all materials, refreshments, and free house and garden entry on the day of the workshop.

Learn how to use three simple stitches to embroider your robin decoration with artist Lucy Freeman. Lucy will teach you how to paint with threads, layering detail and blending colours for a realistic look that’s simple and easy to pick up.

During the workshop we will sew the robin together step by step, then Lucy will help you create your own festive design to surround the bird.

Embroidery artwork will be on display throughout the workshop for inspiration, as well as a variety of drawings, templates and illustrations. The hoop will be finished with a ribbon, ready to hang on the wall or your Christmas tree.

All abilities are welcome.

Your ticket includes all the materials: fabric, threads, templates, an embroidery hoop and needle, as well as instructional sheets and access to video tutorials so you can continue to learn more after the workshop. Plus, you can take everything home with you to continue sewing at home.

What is included?

Tickets include parking for one vehicle, along with complimentary entry to Chatsworth House and Garden, valid only on the day of your workshop.

The workshop takes place during the Christmas market, to which entry is free.
