Fischer’s & White Peak Distillery - Whisky & Cheese Tasting Evening

We are excited to announce a special collaboration between Fischer’s Baslow Hall and the award-winning White Peak Distillery for a relaxed and informal Whisky & Cheese Tasting Evening on Thursday 26th March.

Join us in the Drawing Room for a fun, flavour-filled evening celebrating Derbyshire whisky, perfectly paired with carefully selected cheeses. Whether you’re a seasoned whisky enthusiast or simply curious to explore something new, this promises to be an enjoyable and welcoming experience.

About White Peak Distillery

Founded in 2016, White Peak Distillery is Derbyshire’s first full-scale craft distillery, producing award-winning Wire Works Whisky, alongside Shining Cliff Gin and rum, all with a proud focus on local provenance and heritage.

They released their first Wire Works Whisky in February 2022 to an exceptional response. Their approach is driven by a pursuit of flavour at every stage — using local brewer’s yeast and an uncommonly long fermentation to create a distinctive, characterful spirit before it even reaches the cask. The result is a Derbyshire Single Malt with depth, individuality and a true sense of place.

On arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the Fischer’s team with a whisky cocktail before enjoying a guided four-flight tasting from White Peak’s core Wire Works range, including: Caduro, Bourbon Barrel, Port Cask and a Limited Edition release.
