Scandi Rag Rug Making Workshop at Tissington Craft Corner

Thursday 10th September 6-9pm

You’ll learn the skills and techniques of rag rug making and get to make a round rug. This is a fab transferable skill which can also be used to make place mats, seat pads, coasters, Aga tops, anything you can think of.

It reuses and upcycles old fabrics such as duvet covers to breath a new lease of life into them and creates something truly unique. We have a big stash of old duvet covers here for you to use, or of course you can bring your own fabrics.

This is a 3 hour workshop, taught in a small group so you will get plenty of support from our experienced tutor Jackie. We even provide tea and biscuits!

All workshops take place in the upstairs studio of Tissington Craft Corner, based in The Joiners Shop, Tissington, Derbyshire, DE6 1RA. Please be aware, due to our location upstairs in an old building, access is only by 5 stone steps. Free parking is 200yds away opposite Tissington Hall.
