Bagshaw Hall, Lodge and Mews Cottage offers a special opportunity to stay in elegant suites with original features in the historic Hall, or contemporary suites in the Lodge, or in a spacious 4 bedroom Mews house all with excellent countryside views.

Whether you're looking for rest and relaxation, something more energetic or meeting up with friends, we can offer unique accommodation in the Hall, or modern, spacious suites in the Lodge. All rooms have an equiped kitchenette, plus dining table and all facilities expected in 4* accommodation. Or maybe you'd prefer the independence of our 4 bedroom spacious and comfortable, newly renovated mews house for a family gathering.

We are conveniently located just a short walk from the centre of Bakewell with its many independent shops, cafes, restaurants and bars, whilst our elevated position gives panoramic views of the surounding spectacular countryside. There are a range of walks on the doorstep, whether it may be a relaxed walk to a neighbouring pretty village, or a full day exploring magnificent Chatsworth House and historic and romantic Haddon Hall. Thornbridge Brewery is at the bottom of the hill where you can take a tour and tasting. The Monsal Trail is accessed a 10 minute walk away, where bikes can be hired or you can walk and enjoy the traffic-free path. Other scenic trails and dales, such as Monsal and Lathkill are only a short drive away. Close by are golf courses, horse riding, fishing and Virgin balloon flights

For family entertainment, Chatsworth or Matlock Farm Parks, the Heights of Abraham, Gulliver's Kingdom, Go Ape and Bolsover Castle are all within 30 minutes drive, whilst Alton Towers is only an hour away

We have 3 rooms that are partially accessible with a wheelchair but aren't fully DDA compliant

We have our own car parks and electric vehicle chargers. We are dog friendly by prior arrangement. We can offer luggage storage
