Our lovely Club Site at Conkers is in the heart of the National Forest and next door to the award-winning visitor attraction of the same name, which contains a Discovery Centre, sculpture trail and an assault course for teenagers. The Ashby Woulds Heritage Trail – a former railway line in the National Forest – is accessible to walkers and cyclists from the Club Site, and you’ll find a number of family-friendly attractions within easy driving distance, including the towns and villages of the Peak District National Park. Other places worth a visit include the National Memorial Arboretum, Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre Country Park, Snibston Discovery Park, Calke Abbey, Twycross Zoo, Donington Park, famed for its collection of Grand Prix racing cars, and the National Brewery Centre in Burton on Trent. Non-members welcome.
