Our two historic, large, luxury, Derbyshire self-catering cottages can each sleep from 12 to 16 guests. These beautiful 5 and 6 bedroom Derbyshire character cottages edge the magnificent Peak District National Park and are located in separate, idyllic and tranquil surroundings which are 5 miles apart. Surrounded by large, private and beautifully stocked landscaped gardens and pastureland in which to relax or play, they have wonderful views over scenic landscapes and are a haven for birds and wildlife.,,

For lovers of walking, cycling and historic houses then our large luxury self-catering accommodation right in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales and the Peak District are the perfect choice. Museums, activities, adventure centres, caves, animal centres are the tip of the iceberg- something for all ages and tastes. Carsington Water and Wildpark Leisure are close by, Chatsworth House, Sudbury and Kedleston Halls, Alton Towers and the fabulous Blue John Caves at Castleton are just a short drive.

Full of character both luxury Derbyshire holiday cottages have cosy wood burning stoves, beams throughout, revealed stone and brick walls and many feature windows and fireplaces giving a cosy ambience and charm that are a delight in which to chill and unwind. Hot tubs are available at both cottages and there is a sauna and full sized snooker table available at Billy’s Bothy by arrangement. Both cottages have well equipped farmhouse style kitchens with separate lounge and dining rooms. Fabulous cottages fitted and furnished to an exceptional standard. Billy's Bothy has all en suite bathrooms, Hillside Croft in Hulland Ward has 1 en suite and 1 master bathroom with bath and shower, also 3 WC's. Both of these self-catering cottages are suitable for large group celebrations, families, and hen parties wanting to visit Derbyshire and the Peak District or for that special occasion. Catering and pampering are available by arrangement to make your stay special.

Billy's Bothy in Ashbourne is suitable for small private corporate events, a projector and equipment and hearing device is available. We now offer a stunning Derbyshire wedding reception venue with self- catering accommodation for the wedding party in our luxury cottages and camping on site for those extra guests.
