The Royal Oak Campsite

The Royal Oak campsite has 19 pitches on two levels, offering direct access to the scenic Tissington and High Peak Trails, which are perfect for walkers and cyclists of all abilities due to them being relatively flat and traffic free. The campsite is located to the rear of our award-winning pub, which is the perfect place to enjoy a hearty homemade meal after a fun filled day exploring the many attractions of the local area.

The campsite has toilets, hot showers, and washing up facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay. Choose from our designated pitches, thoughtfully marked out to provide ample space for both your tent and car. Standard pitches measure 6 metres x 8 metres, while large pitches are 8 metres x 10 metres. For an enhanced experience, consider upgrading to a super pitch (12x8m/16x6m), complete with a private picnic bench and fire pit.

You can see a plan of the campsite here (PDF). Please note that all pitches include designated areas for both your tent and car. Unfortunately, we don't offer hardstanding or electric hook-ups, and we regretfully cannot accommodate motorhomes. We also do not permit marquees or gazebos on site.
