Experience the Museum of Making at Night as we celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Museum of Making’s Model Railway with a special Q&A featuring model railway enthusiast extraordinaire – Pete Waterman. Not only has Pete amassed an incredible amount of platinum discs and amazing anecdotes from his many years in the music industry, but he’s also an avid model railwayer. Pete and his compadres – the Railnuts – are Guinness World Record Holders for Making Tracks, the largest portable model railway in the world!
The evening will feature a special night-time opportunity to see the model railway in action, the chance to meet some of the volunteers who have spent many thousands of hours on the model, and a Q&A with Pete Waterman, who will be talking about his love of model railways, with a few choice tales from his showbiz years thrown in.
The Museum of Making bar will be open throughout.
