This ancient custom is unique to Derbyshire and is the art of decorating springs and wells with pictures made from natural materials.
The Blessing is on July 5, TBA starting in St Anne’s Church
Wells in the Making: July 1 to 4, various times at Burnfields Farm, Hill Top
Well Dressings
Three:
1. Hough Hill Well on Sandy Lane, near its junction with Hough Hill
2. Job’s Pool Well Dressing also on Sandy Lane, about 30m from its junction with St Anne's Vale
3. Sytch Road Well on Sytch Road, about 50m from its junction with the B5051
Brown Edge is located on the B5051 about 2km west of Endon.
