Corvus Consort, founded and directed by Freddie Crowley, comprises some of the UK’s finest young professional acapella singers. In their programme 'A Million Nightingales' they explore how musicians have regarded and drawn inspiration from birds through Renaissance madrigals, traditional folk songs, 20th century British music and songs by contemporary composers. Described as “dazzling” and “always full of fresh thinking” Corvus Consort's combination of musical excellence, passionate performance and imaginative presentation makes them hugely popular. Their 2024 album 'Welcome Joy' with harpist Louise Thompson was critically acclaimed as 'a jewel box of glinting, shimmering choral gems'.
Tickets: £23 ( £10: Under 25's) All concerts held in the medieval St Nicholas Church, High Bradfield, S6 6LG
