CREATIVE REVOLUTION CHESTERFIELD EVENTS 2026

A series of Pop‑Up Events is set to transform familiar spaces into vibrant showcases of local talent—celebrating the creativity of young people, schools, and artists across the town. These events will spotlight the diverse work emerging from the Creative Revolution (CCEP) programme. More than simple displays, they are interactive celebrations—bringing together families, artists, and communities to share, connect, and shape the future of creativity in Chesterfield.

The countdown has begun: dates are now confirmed for all four exhibitions, marking a major milestone for the project. Each event will feature work from across the programme, including Artists Jam, YouSpeak, and schools projects, creating shared spaces of joy and collaboration.

Dates and venues:

 14th March 2026 Chesterfield College 11am-2pm

8th April 2026 Barrow Hill 11am-2pm

 27th May 2026 The Rectory 11am-2pm 20th

June 2026 Staveley 11am-2pm

Partnership is at the heart of this journey. Each pop‑up will be delivered alongside local organisations and venues—Kakou, Chesterfield College, Barrow Hill Community Trust, and Community Growth CIC—and enriched through close collaboration with schools and local artists. But these events are more than exhibitions. They are immersive experiences, inviting audiences to engage directly with the work and the creatives behind it.

With support from Derbyshire Voluntary Action, the pop‑ups will also act as live consultation and listening spaces, ensuring community voices help shape the future of Creative Revolution long after this project concludes. Creativity is thriving in Chesterfield — and we want YOU to be part of it. These pop‑up exhibitions aren’t just about showcasing art, they’re about shaping the future of our town together.
