Well Dressing is a Derbyshire tradition where communities create floral mosaics around wells, blending art & nature to celebrate water, & heritage.

Well Dressing is the art of decorating springs or wells with pictures made of natural products.

Anyone interested in watching one of this year's well dressings under construction can do so between Monday 11th May and Thursday14th May (the week before the Festival) by emailing etwallwells@gmail.com for an appointment. Also, those keen to try their hand at well dressing will be able to give it a go under expert supervision during the Well Dressing weekend.
There will be 10 well dressings on display this year
Date of the Blessing: Saturday 16th May 2026.
Etwall is located just off the A516, which links southwest Derby (Mickleover and Littleover) with the A50.
