Well Dressing is a Derbyshire tradition where communities create floral mosaics around wells, blending art & nature to celebrate water, & heritage.

Harthill well dressing Blessing will be on Saturday 4th of July 2026. At 4pm
It will be held at the bottom of Doctor Lane Harthill opposite Harthill Primary School at the well area.
Reverand Gary Scofield will bless the well dressing. Harthill Choir and Harthill Primary School will be singing and afterwards Harthill Morris will dance.
The opening lasts about 1 hour.
The Well Dressing can be found on Doctor Lane Well at the junction of Doctor Lane and Union Street
Harthill is located about 3km from the A618 Clowne to Killamarsh road and about 5km northeast of junction 30 of the M1.
