Lino Printing Workshop
Learn the basics of lino printing, a technique used by artists for over 100 years.
About
12th May 2025
10:30 am - 1:00 pm
During this 2.5 hour workshop you’ll work with Dave Elsom from Sombrero Printmaking to learn the basics of lino printing, a technique used by artists for over 100 years.
You’ll sketch out your design, which you'll trace onto a piece of lino and when you’re happy with it you can begin to carve out the design and get it ready for the printing stage. Once the design is fully carved you’ll be able to print this and make your very own pieces of art. You will also get to keep your lino carving to enable to make more cards & prints at home.
While water-based inks are used (which usually come out of clothes easily) we always recommend you don't wear your Sunday best!
Suitable for beginners and intermediate levels. All materials provided.
£35pp including all-day garden entry and 20% off Lunch at Quackers
