With a reputation for the courage, vitality and intensity of their performance, the award winning Marmen Quartet will commemorate Ravel’s 150 Anniversary year with a performance of his popular string quartet alongside works by Haydn and Mozart. The quartet have performed extensively in Europe and in the USA, winning performance prizes and critical plaudits. In January 2025, the Marmen Quartet published their second recording (BIS2693) – their first as sole artist, with works by Ligeti and Bartók, that highlights their commitment to clear communication.
