Botanical Silver Jewellery Workshop at Chatsworth
Create unique jewellery from silver clay, in this nature inspired workshop led by jeweller Louise Collins.
About Botanical Silver Jewellery Workshop at Chatsworth
Price: £170 per person: 6th May 10-4pm
Includes materials and garden entry
Using natural materials selected from the Chatsworth gardens, you will use moulds and different silver clay techniques to turn them into unique, hallmark quality, solid silver jewellery.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced jeweller, the tutor will be on hand to guide you through the process. This is a relaxed, informal session with no previous experience necessary. You’ll learn to design, shape, fire, and polish jewellery using eco-friendly silver clay, made from recycled materials like x-rays and electronics. You'll use leaves, flowers, and other natural elements to craft up to five unique silver pieces, such as pendants, earrings, or charms, which you’ll take home at the end of the day.
Your tutor Louise will explain how the pieces of nature will be incorporated into the designs by creating moulds or firing into the clay.
