This weekend masterclass is designed to deepen your understanding of both the creative and practical aspects of painting landscapes in oil. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, we'll explore the expressive use of colour, strong composition and thoughtful planning to bring your ideas to life.

You'll learn how effective preparation - from preliminary sketches to setting up your palette - can strengthen your work and build self-confidence at the easel. There will also be the opportunity to paint en-plein air, weather permitting, in the Chatsworth garden - putting these principles into practice while responding directly to light, atmosphere, and the landscape.

Suitable for a range of experience levels, this workshop offers a supportive environment to experiment, refine your skills, and enjoy two focused days of painting in oils.
