Printed Lampshades Weekend Workshop at Chatsworth

£195 per person

The session will begin with an introduction to the screen printing process, tools and techniques. You'll then have the opportunity to experiment with surface pattern, develop your own design, and learn how to create and cut handmade stencils for printing.

Once you're confident with the process, you'll prepare your screen and inks, and practice on fabric before progressing to creating your unique handprinted repeat pattern. This printed fabric will become the foundation for your 30cm diameter lampshade.

You can choose to make a lampshade for a ceiling pendant or a lamp base.

All materials will be provided. Tickets include tea and coffee throughout the sessions.
