1.50pm - 5pm - includes entry to the house and garden, and Celebrating Jane Austen
The workshop takes place in the Green Satin Room in the house.
Led by expert costumier, Sylvia Spilsbury of Bath Theatrical Costume Hire, this hands-on workshop provides the opportunity to create and cover your own Regency period parasol.
The parasol comes with a longer, detachable handle and matching storage sleeve. Leave with a completed parasol, a pattern, and knowledge of how to create your own canopy to change as you please.
All materials will be provided. Once you have booked your place, we will be in touch to discuss colours and materials.
