The picturesque village of Hartington is a thriving “honey pot” for visitors and tourists throughout every month of the year.Ash Tree cottage is renovated from what was once the “Old Wash house” and “Pigsty” into luxury two bed-roomed accommodation.Everything is all on one level; we have aimed to make the cottage accessible to all, from families to the less mobile.We have kept the cottage private from the busy farmyard; it has its own garden and patio area. There’s also parking for two cars.We are a dog friendly cottage allowing 1 dog per stayNettletor Farm is a busy family run dairy and sheep farm. The family have been here for 4 generations. We farm 200 acres, milk 70 Holstein Friesians and have 150 breeding ewes. Close to all local attractions there is something to suit everyone; the walk to Dove Dale from the doorstep; cycling for the more energetic along the trails and visiting the stately homes of Chatsworth and Hadden Hall. The market towns of Bakewell, Leek and Ashbourne and the Spa towns of Buxton and Matlock Bath are all within a 20-minute drive away.
