About
If you enjoy walking, you’ll love our Club Site at Hayfield. At the foot of the Dark Peak area of the Peak District National Park, it’s an ideal place for gentle strolls or more challenging climbs. Hayfield is at the foot of the Kinder Massif, the southern-most point of the Pennine Chain and you can set off for the Sett Valley Trail or a ridge ramble up Lantern Pike from here. There is also a play park half a mile from site. Popular local attractions include Quarry Bank Mill & Styal Estate in Wilmslow and Go Ape! at Buxton Country Park. A number of towns and villages are also worth a visit, including Castleton and Bakewell. Popular annual events include the Queen Festival in May, well dressings in June and July, and sheep dog trials at the Hayfield Show in September. Non-members welcome.
