Peaceful Peak District log cabins with stunning views, hot tubs and a relaxed farm setting
About
A proper break in the Peak District, with space to slow down
If you’re looking for peace, quiet and a comfortable place to switch off, our cosy log cabins offer a true home-from-home on a working farm in the Derbyshire hills.
Wake up to wide open views of the White Peak landscape, step straight out onto walking and cycling routes, and return to a warm, well-equipped cabin where everything is ready for you. Whether it’s a morning coffee on the decking, time with the animals, fun cooking pizzas in the outdoor oven, or a relaxed evening under dark skies, this is a stay that feels easy from the start.

Our four self-catering log cabins are spotlessly clean, comfortable and thoughtfully set up with everything you need for a relaxing stay, with renewable energy helping keep things warm and comfortable while reducing environmental impact.

Simple things done well
Guests come here for the peace and quiet, the fresh air, and the chance to spend proper time together.
Children love meeting the farm animals and exploring the outdoors, while adults appreciate the calm setting, thoughtful touches and comfortable space to unwind. With dark skies overhead, evenings are just as special as the days.
Accessibility
Several of our log cabins offer step-free access, spacious layouts and accessible wet rooms, with a wide range of equipment available to support your stay.
We’re always happy to talk through your individual needs before booking, so you can feel confident the accommodation is right for you.

A thoughtful approach to your stay
Our cabins are powered by renewable energy from on-site wind and solar, and we’ve been recognised with the Peak District Environmental Quality Mark and Green Tourism Gold Award. It’s all part of creating a place that’s carefully run, so you can simply relax and enjoy your time here.
Cycling and walking
With quiet lanes, traffic-free trails and beautiful countryside all around, it’s easy to explore straight from your door.
Bring your own bike and use our secure cycle shed with a maintenance stand, borrow one of our adult mountain bikes, or hire an electric bike if you’d prefer a little help on the hills.
We provide OS maps and our own tried-and-tested routes so you can head out with confidence and enjoy the day at your own pace. Our favourites include a walk to a local pub and a hike up to Minninglow, a Neolithic burial site with panoramic views.
Glamping
If you’re looking for something a little different, our cosy glamping pods and vintage gypsy caravan offer a peaceful escape with all the comfort taken care of.
Wake up to views across the farm, enjoy quiet evenings under the stars, and settle into a space that’s warm, well equipped and easy from the moment you arrive.
If you’re after a peaceful countryside stay where everything feels simple and well looked after, this is somewhere you can truly relax and enjoy your time away.
