Bring your horse on holiday to Hoe Grange
Unleash the adventure: bring your horse on holiday to explore the stunning Peak District with Hoe Grange Holidays.
About
Looking for a unique holiday experience that allows you to explore the beautiful Peak District countryside with your equine friend? Look no further than Hoe Grange Holidays - a working farm that offers holiday accommodation and welcomes you to bring your own horse along for the ride!
Imagine waking up each morning to the sight of your horse grazing peacefully in the paddock just outside your cosy log cabin or gorgeous glamping pod. Then saddle up and ride straight from the farm onto scenic bridleways, quiet country lanes and traffic-free trails. Because the High Peak Trail and Pennine Bridleway are only moments away, you can enjoy miles of safe off-road riding without loading your horse into a trailer.
Riding routes
At Hoe Grange, we're horse riders ourselves and we know all the best routes, from short loops to longer distance full day rides. Our favourite ride even takes us to the pub! But that's not all - in addition to the local bridle paths, you'll be able to ride over 250 acres of privately owned farmland (depending on weather conditions and cropping), giving you the opportunity to canter across undulating open fields and get your horse really fit and increase stamina.
Horse facilities
And don't worry about stabling - we have 6 spacious stables with hayracks and auto-fill water bowls. Hay and straw bedding is included, with shavings and horse feed available on request. Grazing paddocks are available at most times of year and can be split with electric fencing.
We also provide secure tack storage with saddle racks, rug racks, and space for feed. And for those necessary stable chores, we've got you covered with wheelbarrows, mucking out forks, yard brushes, and more.
We provide emergency access to local vets, farriers, and equine supply merchants, and there's plenty of parking space for horseboxes and trailers.
The cost to bring your horse on holiday is just £28 per horse per night.
Perfect for Group Horse Holidays
Whether you travel alone, with friends or as a riding club, Hoe Grange Holidays provides a flexible and welcoming environment. Because the accommodation sleeps different group sizes, riders can holiday together while still enjoying their own space.
In addition, dogs are welcome too. That means the whole family can enjoy the countryside together. After a day in the saddle, relax beside the firepit, soak in a whirlpool bath or simply admire the peaceful Peak District views.
