About
In the Staffordshire Moorlands, our Club Site at Leek is perfect for walking or exploring the industrial heart of England, with the Peak District to the north and the Potteries to the south. The latter has several museums, galleries and factories to explore, while the former is Britain’s oldest National Park, mixing beautiful countryside and fascinating caves with pretty towns and villages. Local attractions include Alton Towers Theme Park. A great way to enjoy the scenery is to ride the Foxfield Railway, which runs steam trains through five-and-a-half miles of north Staffordshire countryside. Non-members welcome.
