Peak Cavern: 'The Devil's Arse'
Peak Cavern is a spectacular natural cavern containing historic rope works offering guided tours and hosting regular concerts and events
About
Deep in the gorge below Peveril Castle is Peak Cavern's imposing entrance chamber, the largest natural cave entrance in the British Isles.
Peak Cavern - “The Devil’s Arse” has the largest cave entrance in Britain. The cavern becomes home to one-off events and regular concerts throughout the summer months including cave cinema and concerts.
All concerts are held in the main Cavern Entrance Chamber which is classed as an Open-Air Venue. It is essentially outside but with a huge cave roof protecting you from the elements. A venue like no other. There is a well-stocked bar as well as snacks and refreshments on sale throughout.
There are also regular Pop Up cave cinema events hosted throughout the year in conjunction with The Village Screen.
Enjoy memorable experiences by combining classic films in incredible locations and enjoy street food from some of the UK’s most talented food traders.
