Riverside Cottages

A row of three exquisite cottages, located on the banks of the River Wye in the beautiful market town of Bakewell. Perfect for smaller groups of 4 to 6 guests wanting to stay in the heart of the Peak District. You can hire the cottages individually or a combination of two or three cottages together.

The three dog friendly cottages have been renovated to a very high standard and ooze luxury, all three have been fitted with shaker style kitchens and have all the modern appliances needed to make catering for a group an easy task.

Each living room is light and airy with plenty of soft comfortable seating arranged around a wonderful feature log burner, the ultimate spot to relax and unwind after a day exploring the many attractions of the Peak District. Each cottage has its own gravel area out the front and a private garden with a mixture of paving and plants to the rear. Out here you can enjoy a BBQ in the summer months.

The bedroom and bathroom configuration for the cottages are as follows:

1 Riverside Cottage – Sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. There are 3 double size bedrooms, 2 of the double bedrooms have the option of being made up as a king size double or twin beds, one of these has a fabulous ensuite while the other shares a luxurious family bathroom with the other double bedroom.

2 Riverside Cottage – Sleeps up to 6 guests in 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is a large spacious bedroom with a fixed king size double bed, full size bunk beds and a superb ensuite perfect for family groups. Bedroom 2 has the flexibility of being made up as a king size double or twin beds and has use of its own private bathroom with bath, shower attachment and overhead monsoon shower.

3 Riverside Cottage - Sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. All the bedrooms have the flexibility of being made up as king size doubles or twins, the largest has an ensuite shower room while the other two bedrooms share a modern luxurious family bathroom.

Location

The location of Riverside cottages is second to none, you can take a leisurely stroll along the banks of the River Wye into the centre of the popular market town of Bakewell with its array of independent shops, an abundance of lovely cafes, restaurants and pubs for you to explore and enjoy.

Whether you are into walking or cycling there are plenty of stunning scenic routes nearby, including the well-known Monsal Trail with its fantastic tunnels and breath-taking views.

The historic houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are both only a 10 minute drive away and the wonderful spa town of Buxton with its impressive Georgian architecture is a 20 minute drive away.
