The Bull I' Th' Thorn Campsite

The Bull I' Th' Thorn is a family friendly pub and pizzeria with a campsite attached to the rear, nestled in the heart of the Peak District.

Our campsite is a great base to explore the many attractions the Peak District has to offer, the beautiful spa town of Buxton is only a 10 minute drive away while the historic market towns of Bakewell and Ashbourne are also within easy reach. The site is located close to the Tissington and High Peak Trails, perfect for cyclists and walkers of all abilities.

At the Bull I' Th' Thorn campsite, we offer excellent camping facilities and also a delightful pub and pizzeria. Enjoy our traditional pub with a roaring fire, perfect for unwinding with a refreshing drink. Try a local ale or your favourite wine, served by our friendly staff. Relax in our fabulous beer garden, complete with children's play area, and soak up the Peak District sunshine during the summer months. In our pizzeria, our chef, Eduardo crafts mouth-watering, hand-stretched pizzas with the finest ingredients, from classic Margherita to gourmet combinations. Something to satisfy every palate. Breakfast is also served in the pub at the weekends, perfect if you don't fancy getting the camping stove out in the morning!

As well as the pub and pizzeria on-site, you can easily walk across the fields to our sister pub, The Royal Oak at Hurdlow and enjoy some hearty homemade pub food. From the Bull I' Th' Thorn there are also two great ice cream parlours within walking distance.

Our picturesque campsite offers 32 grass pitches (10 with electrical hook up), all of our pitches are a generous size (9m x 12m) which leaves ample space to park your vehicle.

We also have 2 bell tents (1 with electric hook up) available to hire, please note that we do not provide anything within the tent itself, but outside you do have a picnic bench and fire pit (which can be used to BBQ) for your exclusive use and these are included with the hire.
