    A 6 tough mile hike -  join for a chance to experience the high moors and walk a classic section of the Pennine Way to the lofty Laddow Rocks.  It's the Easter Holidays and fit, active families are welcome!  Great views of the Longdendale Valley.  Experience some of the wildest places on your doorstep!

    • Walk Grade and Terrain. The walk is graded as Hard.  The first 3 miles are mostly up hill with steep sections, rough underfoot and with some exposed vertical drops to the side.  There will be wet and muddy sections.  You will need good walking boots and waterproofs.  Bring lunch, snacks and a hot drink.
    • Start: 09:45   Finish 15:30
    • Meeting Point:  Crowden Car Park off the A628   GR:  SK0799  Postcode:  SK13 1HZ      w3w organist.passing.material
    • Parking: Free, but please arrive early as this small car park fills fast.  Toilets: nearby at start of walk.
    • Booking Essential:  Adults £15:00.   Accompanied under 18s are Free, but please book a place.
