Well Dressing is a Derbyshire tradition where communities create floral mosaics around wells, blending art & nature to celebrate water, & heritage.

Varies from year to year. In 2025, there were eight:
- 1. Fountain Well Dressing near the Fountain at the junction of Yeoman Street and The Dale
- 2. St James’ Church Well Dressing on Church Street, just beyond the Church
- 3. Market Place Well in the village centre, opposite the Old Cross
- 4. Uppertown Lane Well on the north side of Uppertown Lane, near its highest point
- 5. Moor Lane Well at the junction of Moor Lane and Uppertown Lane, in Uppertown
- 6. Wesleyan Chapel Well Dressing outside the Chapel at the head of The Dale
- 7. Pounder Lane Well on the bend of Pounder Lane, about 50m from its junction with High Street
- 8. Village Life Well Dressing in the garden of a house next to the Village Life Church on High Street
Bonsall is located about 1km from the A5012 Via Gellia (the junction with the Via Gellia is about 1.5km from Cromford on the A6).
