Well Dressing is the art of decorating springs or wells with pictures made of natural products.

Bradwell well Dressing Week takes place the week prior to the Carnival.
In Bradwell, there will be four wells in the village:
Church Street
Townend
Smalldale
Childrens' Well - on "The Hills" in Bradwell.
The Blessing of the Wells will take place on Sunday 4th August at St Barnabas Church.
The wells will be erected on Saturday 3rd August and taken down on Monday 12th August.
Bradwell is located on the B6049 Tideswell road about 2.5km south of the A625 Sheffield to Castleton road.
The public are welcome to come and view the wells in the making and chat to the petallers. They will be on site between Monday 29th July to Friday 2nd August. There are two venues: Bradwell Memorial Hall and the small industrial unit in the centre of the village by the traffic lights. There will be signs outside each venue.
