Enjoy an interactive light and sound trail around the garden from dusk. Pre-booking is essential for all visits. Includes parking.
About
4th November 2023 - 7th January 2024
10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Enjoy an interactive light and sound trail around the Chatsworth Garden featuring some of its best-loved landmarks, including the historic Cascade, Rock Garden and Maze.
The light trail will culminate in a spectacular animated light show that transforms the house into a giant advent calendar with 24 Christmas scenes emerging from 24 windows on the south façade of the house, each scene inspired by the decorations in the house and our extensive collections of art and artefacts.
Tickets must be booked in advance.
Best viewed from dusk | Approximately 1.8km | Allow 45mins to 1hr 30mins
We want everyone to enjoy this walk, there are no steps or stairs on the route and most paths are generally flat and wide. All paths are wide enough for pushchairs and electric wheelchairs. There are several inclines, some paths are a little uneven, and the path narrows in places.
A map of the route will be available soon, but in the meantime, you can view an accessibility map of the garden here, note that the planned route goes up past Flora's Temple, Paxton's Glasshouses and through the Maze, returning via Broad Walk.
Ticket information
This ticket is for access to the garden only, plus parking for one vehicle.
